Red Cross Blood Drive.  10 AM to 3:45 PM.  Lifeways, 1200 N. West Avenue, Jackson.  As influenza activity picks up, the American Red Cross is urging healthy donors of all blood types to give blood to ensure a strong blood supply for patients in need. 4th Annual Scarecrow Contest.  Create your own scarecrow to decorate the Springport Village Main Street! Registration and T-post pickups during regular hours this week. Bring in your entry when completed to be put on Main St. light posts. Entries due by Monday, October 29th. Prizes given for ages under 12 as well as over 12. For more information, call the Springport Branch at (517) 905-1459. Branch must be visited during open hours. Intended for all ages. Yoga at the Meijer Branch, Jackson District Library.  Come Join us for yoga with Jeanette Lamphere from Befitting Yoga Connection.
