Cascades Conference champions

The Addison High School varsity football team has won 20 consecutive Cascades Conference wins.

The Panthers have won conference titles in three consecutive seasons and four of the last five.

So what does Addison need to do to continue that success?

“We just need to keep getting better,” Coach Josh Lindeman said during the JTV Media Days last week. “We have talked about the monster we have created.”

The Panthers have seven returners including co-captains Dylan Sawdey (quarterback) and Nathan Sines (tight end/defensive end).

Other returners include Evan Potes (cornerback), Gabe Pepper (guard), Spencer Brown (cornerback/running back), Daniel Belanger (end), and Keelin Mullin (fullback).

Some players expected to make contributions include Jaxon Whittemore (running back/linebacker), Cameron Miller (tackle), Jay Griewahn (guard/linebacker), Joe Clark (running back/linebacker), and Byron Creech (running back/linebacker).

The Panthers will use the FAMILY motto again this season – “Forget about me, I love you.”

“We know we are going to get everyone’s best each Friday,” senior Nathan Sines said. “We just want to keep winning.”

The Panthers expect to have 22 players at the varsity level and 18 on the junior varsity team.
