From the Jackson District Library:

“The health and safety of our patrons are a top priority, and our thoughts are with those impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Since it first surfaced, our teams have been monitoring the situation closely and taking every precaution to keep our patrons and our communities safe.

With the effects of the outbreak being felt more each day, and in the interest of public health, the Jackson District Library will close all its locations to the public and suspend all services through at least April 5.

Services suspended immediately include our outreach services and home delivery. Due dates for all materials will be extended to April 30, and patrons are asked not to return any items to JDL locations while they are closed to the public.

Our social media pages, linked below, will periodically highlight our digital services we offer our patrons, which allows JDL library card holders to download and stream movies, audiobooks, e-books, music, and more. We will also make more announcements regarding our policies surrounding the coronavirus outbreak.

Thank you for your cooperation during this time, and feel free to review our coronavirus webpage that includes resources from the Center for Disease Control & Prevention, Jackson County resources, and more.”
