Napoleon High School graduate Collin Baldwin added a national championship to his resume.

Two years after winning a Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 4 state title, Baldwin won a National Junior College Athletic Association last week at Royal Scot Golf & Bowl in Lansing. 

Baldwin finished first in the all-event standing at the NJCAA event with 2,476 pins. He earned NJCAA all-American honors for his first-place finish. 

He had high games of 257, 251, and 239 in winning the title.

Baldwin won by more than 75 pins.

The Jackson College sophomore teamed with Jack Schultz to finish second in the two-man competition. The team finished with a six-game total of 1,204 points – and average of more than 200 pins per individual games.

Jackson finished fifth as a team in the men’s national championship event. 

The Jets also finished fifth in the women’s competition.

Marissa Wood finished 11th overall with a total of 2,067 pins.
