BOYS BASKETBALL
Jackson 67, Northwest 49: After the game was tied at 16 apiece after the opening quarter, the Vikings outscored the Mounties 20-5 in the second quarter. JHS didn’t look back after that, earning a huge crosstown rivalry victory. Berkley Drummond led Jackson with 25 points, Jaiden Ramirez added 15 points. Jackson is now 8-5 overall, NW falls to 9-5 and plays again Tuesday night at St. Johns.
Michigan Center 68, Leslie 53: The Cardinals win a huge Cascades-East game at home on Monday night. Tre Collins led MC with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Jayden Watson added 16 points, and Travis Collins scored 15 points plus 5 rebounds. Roman DeRose led Leslie with 18 points. MC is now 10-0 in conference play, and takes sole possession of first in the Cascades-East.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Northwest 50, Jackson 48: The Mounties survive and earn a crosstown rivalry win to split the boys-girls matchups. NW improves to 6-6 on the season, Jackson falls to 7-6.
Concord 67, Hillsdale Academy 33: Bradie Lehman tied the school record with 7 3-pointers on her way to a career-high 32 points, sharing the record with Jillian Bulloch from 2014-15. Cieara Barrett added 14 points, and Braelynn Thorrez added a career-high 13 points. Concord is now 12-1 overall.
Grass Lake 61, Chelsea 29: Reese Lape scored 23 points to lead the Warriors. GL is now 11-1 overall and travels to Addison on Wednesday (1/28).
Hanover Horton 59, Hillsdale 23: Molly Soper led the Comets with 14 points and 6 rebounds, and also made her 100th career 3-pointer in the non-conference win. Maggie Soper added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals. HHHS is now 10-1 overall.
