The Michigan Department of Transportation invites the public to attend a public meeting regarding the upcoming I-94 reconstruction and improvement project.  This open house-style meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to meet with MDOT staff and ask questions about the project.  There will be a brief presentation with a question and answer session at 2 PM and 6 PM.  The Open House runs from 1:30 PM to 7 PM. Blackman Township Hall, 1990 W. Parnall Road, Jackson. 

State Representative for the 64th District Julie Alexander  will be holding her monthly in-district office hours today.  The “Milk Break” will be from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Roxy Cafe, 606 N. West Avenue.   The office hours will take place at the Jackson County Tower Building, first floor, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.  No appointments are necessary.  Those unable to attend may contact Representative Alexander at 517-373-1795.  Rep. Alexander encourages anyone with questions or concerns about state government to join her for coffee and conversation.
