The Nixon Water Park opens for the season today.  Sessions are 11 AM to 2 PM, 2:15 PM to 5:15 PM and 5:30 PM to 7 PM.  $4 per person.  Evening session is $2.  Ten swim passes are available for $32 (2 free sessions).  There is a picnic area and light concessions are available for purchase.  Patrons are allowed to bring in small coolers (no glass containers).  Nixon Water Park, 400 East North Street.

The Digital Bookmobile National Tour is making a stop at the Meijer Branch, Jackson District Library today from 11 AM to 5 PM.  Visitors are invited to an interactive experience to learn about and try eBooks and audiobooks available from JDL.  Events are free for library lovers of all ages. 

Yoga at the Meijer Branch, Jackson District Library.  Join us at the Meijer Branch! Stop by the Meijer Branch every Monday and Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., and Friday at 8:30 a.m. and let Jeanette Lamphere teach you yoga. Suggested donation of $3. Intended for adults.

Summer Drama Camp.  In Jackson School of the Arts Summer Drama Camp, young actors spend a week working as an ensemble to create an original play based on super fun themes that evoke drama, comedy, suspense, and one-of-a-kind characters. Campers are guided through play-writing basics and fun improvisational games. On the last day, they perform their world premiere for an audience of family and friends, free of charge!   Bring a water bottle each day.  Jackson School of the Arts, 634 N. Mechanic Street, Jackson.
