Painting Foundation for Adults and Teens-Mixed Media.  Beginner to Advanced students indulge your love of art and grow at your own pace in this small studio setting. Learn the basics of pain application, color mixing, color theory, value, and composition. Meet with some friends and your art instructor for individualized instructions in a small group setting. Learn new weekly techniques with hands-on demonstrations and gain confidence in your own skills as a painter. Jackson School of the Arts, 634 North Mechanic Street, Jackson.  6:45 to 8:15 PM.

Prime Time Work Retreat at Somerset Beach Campground.  Our spring Prime Time retreat is a perfect chance to enjoy a few days of relaxation AND serve Somerset Beach Campground by helping us get ready for the upcoming summer.   There are so many work projects to be done at Somerset Beach Campground, we need all of the help we can get! Whether you’re good at sewing, chopping wood, cleaning, organizing or anything else, we’d love to have you come for the week and help us with various work projects. We’re sure you’ll keep busy and have a great time!  As a thank you for all of the help you’ll be giving us, we’ll provide lodging, camping and food for anyone who wants to come help out!
