Shouting the Battle Cry of Freedom Fundraiser hosted by The Historical Campaign.  6 PM to 9 PM.  Ella Sharp Museum.  The Historical Campaign is raising money to help with obtaining AV equipment necessary to perform presentations.  The Historical Campaign brings primary sources into classrooms across Southern Michigan for students to have a unique learning experience when studying the American Civil War.  Hors d’oeuvres by Cuisine with Colleen.  More information here. The Greatest Love of All.  Showtime Australia presents the critically-acclaimed live concert honoring the talent, music and memory of Whitney. Jackson High School Theatre Department presents 20/20 Hindsight.  A collection of shorts by Christopher Durang and David Ives.  Jackson High School Auditorium.  Tickets are $5 at the door.  Show times are 7 PM Friday and Saturday, 3 PM Sunday.

Late Night at GRB.  Honey & Buffalo perform 9 PM to 12 AM.  Special late night snack menu.  Grand River Brewery, Downtown Jackson.

Fajita Dinner.  Join us for a fajita dinner to support the annual St. Mary School 6th grade class trip! The Sacred Heart community will be preparing chicken fajitas, beans, rice, drinks, and dessert for a minimum donation of $10. Concert at the Michigan Theatre.  Verve Pipe.  the band behind the hits The Freshmen, Photograph and Colorful.  The Verve Pipe have a reputation for spectacular live performances.  The genesis of multi-platinum artist The Verve Pipe can be traced back to the early 90’s when the principal members of two rival Michigan bands joined forces.   Concert tickets at the door $25, $22 in advance.  Doors open at 8:00 P.M. Show at 9:00 P.M.  Michigan Theatre, Downtown Jackson.

Ella’s Explorers.  Ella’s Explorers is back for the 2020 season! This drop-in program is designed for children with a curious mind and an explorer’s heart. Join Ella Sharp Musuem each Saturday starting February 22 – May 5 from 1-4p for an out of this world activities and experiences to coincide with our upcoming exhibit, “My Sky”.  Recommended for ages 7-11.  Included in gallery admission:  $5 for adults; $3 for children; FREE for under the age of 5;  FREE for members of Ella Sharp Museum.  20 minute planetarium shows offered at 1p and 3p for an additional $2 per person.  1 PM to 4 PM, Ella Sharp Museum.

Car-T-Gras:  A Family Celebration.  Bring the family for a day of fun, crafts, and light refreshments. Learn about Jackson’s fascinating early automotive history and learn how a Hollywood legend is connected to Jackson.Tour the building and see the progress of museum renovations and historic preservation work that have been accomplished over the past year while learning about our future plans.  First 200 people will receive special “Car T Gras” necklaces.  Suggested $5 donation per person at the Door.  Hackett Auto Museum, 615 Hupp Avenue, Jackson.
