Events of Monday, June 17, 2019

 Nixon Water Park will open for the season on Monday, June 17th.  The Water Park will be open every day, except Sundays, through August 17th.  Hours of operation and swim sessions are:  MONDAY THRU THURSDAY, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., 2:15 to 5:15 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. ($2 only). FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 2:15 to 5:15 p.m. SUNDAYS:  CLOSED.  Admission for each session is $4.00, except the Monday thru Thursday evening session which is $2.00.

Summer Ballet, Tap and Jazz.  Ballet, Tap, & Jazz :June 17, 18, 19.  Ages 5-9yrs.  5:15-6:15pm.  $24 for all 3 days.  Details and registration here:  https://jacksonarts.org/summer/

Kids Camp.  Ganson Street Baptist Church.  At Kids’ Camp, you will play games, do crafts, hear Bible stories, and enjoy snacks! Ages: 4 years through students completing the 6th grade in 2019.  9 AM to 11:30 PM.  Ganson Street Baptist Church, 637 West Ganson Street, Jackson.

Eat Smart, Live Stronger.  Join us for a fun class on how to improve your health and well-being!  Topics include increasing fruit and vegetables in tasty ways and engaging in safe physical activity. You will have the chance to participate in discussions on topics such as how to budget your food dollars as well as taste new foods and take home lots of healthy recipes and giveaways!  This class is geared towards adults 50+ but everyone is welcome.
