Red Cross Blood Drive.  6/24/2019: 11 a.m. – 4:45 p.m., Commonwealth Commerce Center, 209 E Washington Avenue, Jackson.  Hosted by Jackson County RoseQueen Scholarship Pageant.  Come meet the candidates for Miss Jackson County RoseQueen and Miss Jackson County Teen USA.

Eat Smart, Live Strong.  3 PM to 4:30 PM.  In partnership with the MSU Extension, Jackson District Library’s concord Branch will host Eat Smart, Live Strong. This class is geared towards individuals 50+ but everyone is welcome to attend! Call the Hanover Branch to register (517-905-1399).  Join Angela Maniaci for a fun class on how to improve your health and well-being. Topics include increasing fruit and vegetables in tasty ways, and engaging in safe physical activity. Participate in discussions with your community on topics such as how to budget your food dollars. Taste new foods and take home lots of healthy recipes and giveaways! The program will be from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. June 24th at the Concord Branch, Jackson District Library.

Storybook Dance Camp , June 24, 25, 26, 27.  Ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop.  Ages 5-9 yrs.  9:30-11:30am  **Dress up each day as a different storybook character. Kidz Kamp.  Now in its 17th year, Kidz Kamp continues to provide an awesome camp experience for kids entering grades 1st-6th in Fall 2019. In our Kidz Kamp experience, kids choose their own summer adventure by selecting three classes from a field of 18 exciting Kamp Classes! Hogwarts Art Studio Camp.  Ages 4-12.  June 24-27 9:30-11:30.  $68 includes all supplies and a daily snack.  Join us in the land of Potter! Starting at Station 9 3⁄4, we will travel to Hogwarts to explore the wonderful world of wizardry. Choose your wand, and whip up some spells! Create some magical artwork, and enjoy some snacks from the Honeydukes Express. Wear your favorite Harry Potter outfits if you wish. Ukulele Jam Session.  5:30 PM, Eastern Branch, Jackson District Library.  The Jacktown Ukes meet the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month and are happy to have others jam with them. If you are a newbie, we will have an extra ukulele on hand. Resources on how to play provided, however, we would not be able to provide lessons.
