Summer Swim Camp Registration at the Jackson YMCA.  Swim Camp is for all swim levels and focuses on water safety, swim basics, and stroke development.  Participants will learn new skills, become comfortable in and around water, and make friends.  A portion of each day will be a swim clinic, focusing on skills, technique and endurance.  the second part of the day will include group games, competitions, and boat safety scenarios.  To register, visit jacksonymca.org or call 782-0537.

Summer Zumba with Gayle Hyde at Carnegie.  Gale Hyde has been a Zumba Fitness instructor for eight years, with credentials of Zumba, Aqua Zumba, Zumba toning, Strong by Zumba, and Zumba kids.  Zumba is a Latin craze that works all your core muscles. It’s an upbeat-filled class with moderate to high intensity moves, but everything can be modified to meet your personal needs. While tossing in the new wave of music as well, this class brings enjoyment to all who attend. Great way to meet new people and burn off that stress you might incur throughout the day.  Come join us on this fun adventure and let’s burn calories while having fun.  Occurs every other Monday, starting on June 2, 2019.  5:30 to 6:30 PM, Carnegie Branch, Jackson District Library.
