Instructor Hiring Event.  Become an adjunct instructor for Jackson College and share your knowledge and skills! Learn more at an Instructor Hiring Event from 6-8 p.m. Nov. 7 in Bert Walker Hall on Central Campus. Part-time instructors are needed across all subjects at Jackson College. For those who would like to teach today’s students and be part of an institution committed to student success, this event is for you. Adjunct instructors choose from flexible schedule options and may teach at any of Jackson College’s locations, including online and the Michigan Department of Corrections facilities. Instructors are required to have a master’s degree in the field in which they teach, or a bachelor’s  degree plus 18 hours of graduate experience in the field they will teach. Basic Computer Class at the Carnegie Branch.  10:30 AM.  Join us every Monday in November at 10:30 AM  at the Carnegie Library to learn some basic computer skills, including Gmail and Microsoft Word.

DIY Snow Globe.  Join us at the Jackson District Library Grass Lake Branch on November 7 at 5:30 PM to welcome the winter season by creating your own snow globe. All ages welcome.  Supplies will be provided. Please call the branch at 517-522-8211 to register.
