2022 Storyfest Showcase.  Join the Jackson District Library to celebrate 35 years of storytelling at the Jackson Symphony Orchestra’s Weatherwax Hall, 7 PM Friday, November 4.  The Storyfest Showcase is a free, family-friendly event featuring performances by tellers Jenifer Strauss and Adam Mellema.  About the Storytellers:  Adam Mellema dances, sings, and uses an exuberant style all his own to play every character in his stories – every man, woman, and paperweight.  Jenifer Strauss is dynamic and thought-provoking, engaging and educational, heartwarming and humorous. Craig Morgan’s God, Family and Country Tour.  7pm, Friday, November 4.  The Potter Center, Jackson College.  Craig Morgan is a country music icon, TV personality, celebrated outdoorsman and patriotic Army veteran. One of country music’s best-loved artists, Morgan has charted 25 songs on Billboard and thrills massive crowds with signature hits including “Bonfire,” Almost Home,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “International Harvester,” “This Ole Boy,” Wake Up Loving You” and the four week #1, “That’s What I Love About Sunday.” Morgan will also perform songs from his latest album “God, Family, Country” including his most stunning song to date, “The Father, My Son and the Holy Ghost.”  Box Office Hours: Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Box Office Phone: 517.796.8600.  Tickets also available at the door.

Friends of the Eastern Branch Fall Book Sale.  Stop by the Jackson District Library Eastern Branch to shop fiction and non-fiction books, juvenile and young adult books, as well as movies and magazines.  Friday, November 4: 9 AM – 6 PM.  Saturday, November 5: 9 AM – 2 PM (Saturday is fill a bag of books for $1.)  This event is presented by the Friends of the Jackson District Library and all proceeds support JDL programming.

Twice Upon A Time CHRISTMAS Market.  9710 E Michigan Ave, Parma.  7th annual Holiday Sale in the big barn with Kammy’s Korner, Hollow’s Market, and Simply B along with some awesome special guests:  Jessica Young Decor,  DoughNation Bakery,  Fortress Cafe, Checks@Charm, The SoapShed, Cookies By Lisa.  Beautiful repurposed furniture, Christmas decor, and lots more!  Friday 12 PM to 7 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 2 PM.

Cascades Humane Society’s Santa Paws.  10 AM to 4 PM.  Santa Paws is a wonderful way to have your fur family’s photo taken with Santa while supporting Cascades Humane Society! From November 4th-6th and November 11th-13th, for a $15 non-refundable donation, you can bring in your pets, sit with Santa, and receive one 5×7 print. Additional prints, ornaments, gifts, and holiday cards, professionally printed by Picture This…Jackson, are available to order as well. 100% of the proceeds benefit the pets and programs at the Cascades Humane Society!  Walk-ins are welcome. Ginger Billy at the Michigan Theatre.  7 PM.  RAINE PRODUCTIONS, MICHIGAN THEATRE OF JACKSON, & Q106 WJXQ are pleased to announce comedian & YouTube phenomenon GINGER BILLY will be coming to the Michigan Theatre of Jackson on NOVEMBER 4, 2022.  Shirtless and tattooed, the Ginger Billy gives viewers a humorous look into life in rural Upstate South Carolina. www.michigantheatre.org.

Grand Opening Michigan Market.  11 AM to 7 PM.  Our Grand Opening is two day event that will feature lots of fun giveaways and a raffle basket. Door prize drawings every hour and customer appreciation gifts. We will feature our handcrafted vendors on Friday in our door prizes and raffle baskets. We will feature our beef vendors with Beef BBQ on Saturday.  We look forward to being a part of the Parma Community!  202 W. Main Street, Parma.

Kevin Krieger Live at Ironbark.  7 PM to 10 PM.  Join us for an evening with the maestro of saxophone magic as he brings his blend of classics, funk, jazz and more to the Ironbark stage!  Ironbark Brewing Company, 2610 Kibby Road, Jackson.

First Friday at ART 634.  6 PM to 9 PM.  First Friday is upon us again, and we look forward to celebrating one of our favorite seasons with you!  We will be doing a food pairing with Michael Macfarlane’s Art Show, and serving up breakfast for dinner! Bacon, eggs and more will be available by donation and while supplies last.  Five Second Rule will be rocking the gallery, the studios will be open for sipping and strolling, and art-focused activities will also be available.  This is the last weekend of the haunted house, Zoerman’s Zombies! Check it out without scares from 6-8p ($5 for children, $10 for adults) or with scares after 8p, $20/person.  634 N. Mechanic Street, Jackson.

Jackson Toy Show.  9 AM – 3 PM.  Jackson Toy Show.  American 1 Event Center, Keeley Park.  It’s the one day show with thousands of collectibles to choose from. Over 250 tables plus. Horizon Exhibit.  The Ella Sharp Museum is thrilled to be the premier location for this amazing new traveling exhibition from the Museum of Special Art (MOSA).  The Horizon Exhibition features an eclectic collection of realistic, modern and abstract works from 18 different artists from across the U.S., Spain, and Canada. This exhibition is one that will truly leave you inspired as our community celebrates the gifts and talents of artists of differing abilities. The Ella Sharp Museum is dedicated to embracing and sharing artwork from all individuals. This exhibition is an example of inclusivity of work from a variety of artists of all ages with various experiences and abilities.  Open during museum hours.

Dogs of the Vineyard Calendar and Abrazo Release Party.  12 PM to 7 PM.  Be one of the firsts to see and purchase the Dogs of the Vineyard Calendar!! Our popular wine dedicated to dogs, Abrazo, is being released as well.  Hear live music by Bret Maynard from 1-4pm. It’s Bret’s first time coming to play at the winery! Come on out to welcome him and hear his music!  Abrazo’s label is in memory of Rusty. Rusty was one of the first SCV dogs. Morning Movies at the Concord Branch. 11 AM.  Stop by the Jackson District Library Concord Branch on the first Saturday of every month and enjoy popcorn and a family movie.  November 5: Rumble (PG).

Barron Ryan at Tecumseh Center for the Arts.  When Classic Meets Cool!  Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA) welcomes pianist Barron Ryan to its stage on Saturday, November 5 at 7:30 PM.  Tickets for Barron Ryan: Classic Meets Cool at Tecumseh Center for the Arts can be purchased online at www.TheTCA.org or at the TCA Box Office. Board Game Sundays.  Come to the Carnegie Library Quiet Reading Room to play some board games or do puzzles every Sunday from 1:30-4:30 PM. The library will provide the games, you provide the fun!  This program is open to all ages..
