Ella Sharp Museum Patio Party.  You’re in luck – there’s no need to make dinner on Thursday! We saved space, so you can feast on tacos and nacho salad by Shorties Sweets, Eats & Treats while listening to summer music by Larry Sumner Jr. over drinks (cash bar). RSVP today then join us on Ella’s Patio from 5 – 7 pm, July 28th with our guest honor, Jackson’s Mayor Daniel Mahoney.  2022 Patio Parties are free for members and just $10 per person for non-members. Kids 10 and under also are free with family. Not a member – there’s never been a better time to support the museum… We’ve got some roaring things, plus two more patio parties, lined up! Low Country Boil.  6:30 PM.  We’re fixin’ to bring y’all one of the best bites from the South with a Low Country Boil.  Did we mention it’s ALL YOU CAN EAT!! Delicious shrimp boiled with our house sausage, and local sweet corn and potatoes. Catfish Rider will also be released and will pair perfectly! Kiwanis Summer Kids Movie Series.  Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  This week’s movie is “Sonic 2”. Doors open 30 minutes before screening (10:30 AM and 1:30 PM) and show times are 11 AM and 2 PM.   Kids combo, small drink and popcorn $4. Admission is $1. Michigan Theatre, Downtown Jackson.

Gigantic Sale for Missions.  The Gigantic Sale for Missions is the community’s largest sale and spans from Thursday, July 28th, to Saturday, July 30th. Here, you can shop for clothes, furniture, home goods, antiques, and more! This huge sale takes place inside the walls of The Arbor Church and sprawls into the parking lot. Friday is “Bag Day” with only $2/bag of clothing, shoes, and bedding. On Saturday, everything inside is FREE! All proceeds go to local and global missions. We hope to see you there!  The Arbor Church, Main Street, Spring Arbor.

Rummage Sale.  1st Congregational Church of Jackson 120 N. Jackson st. will be holding its annual July plant, baked goods and rummage sale on Thurs. July 28 9am until 5 pm and Friday July 29 9am til 8pm. Our $1 a bag sale will be held Sat. July 30 9am until noon. We have craft items(including yarn and material), all sizes of clothes 50 cents and up, shoes 50 cents and up, games, puzzels, linens, purses, books, household items, vacuum cleaners, microwave ,toys, cradle ,small tricycle, baby bed and misc.  Attic treasurers has jewelry, fancy glassware (great for crafts), frames, pictures, cast iron cookware, pyrex, corning ware, lamps and much more.

Summer Nights.  6 PM to 9 PM.  Summer Nights in Leoni Township Park July 28th, 6 – 9. Live music by The Chillbillies. Shop the Market, enjoy live music and dinner. Don’t forget your dancing shoes.

Rives Community Market.  2800 W. Berry Rd, Rives Junction.  Thursdays 5:30 – 7 pm (starting July 28, 2022).  Jonathan’s Concession and Catering LLC food truck (start serving at 5)
