Jackson College Summer Concert Series.  The concert series will kick off June 13 with a Jazz Picnic with River Jazz and the Jazzy Jets, at 6 p.m. on the back porch patio of Potter Center. In addition to music from these local jazz musicians, audience members may purchase hamburgers, hot dogs and all the fixings! Enjoy the atmosphere of the Potter Center’s beautiful back porch, complete with tables and chairs for audience members’ dining and listening convenience. The concert is free.  6 PM.

Kiwanis Summer Kids Film Series presents “How to Train Your Dragon 3”.  Doors open 30 minutes before show times,  10:30 AM for the first screening and 1:30 PM for the afternoon screening. Show times are 11 AM and 2 PM.  Admission is $1.  Kid’s Combo, small pop, and popcorn:  $4.  Michigan Theatre, Downtown Jackson.   

18th Annual Jackson Blues Fest.  June 13-15, 2019 at the Jackson County Airport.  June 13th   6 to 11 p.m. June 14th   6 to 12 a.m. June 15th   3 to 12 a.m.  For just $10 a day you will see great Blues performers from all over the United States. Just bring your lawn chair and sunscreen and absorb all the Blues you can. It’s going to be epic. On Friday, June 14th, the first 100 kids age 2 – 12 will receive a free harmonica, t-shirt, sunglasses and an opportunity to jam with a live band.
