Leaving Your Photo Legacy.  6 PM.  Who gets your pictures? Who tells your story? Join us on May 12, 2022 at Meijer Branch for Jackson Historical Society’s next gathering for a presentation from Marianne Behler, Certified Photo Manager. You will learn the steps you and your family can take to both preserve and share your photos and family stories now and for your future generations.  Marianne will share information that will help you create a plan for your photo legacy. You will hear a message that includes “why do anything”, “what steps to take” and “how to approach basic organizing” to get started and what resources to check out. Whether you have 100 photos or 10,000 and more, whether your photos are printed or digitized, in books or boxes. Marianne will help you create a plan that will prepare you to get started.  Meijer Branch, Jackson District Library.

Board Game Night with LGBTQ Youth GSA Countywide Club.  Show your competitive side with other LGBTQ+ youth over board games and snacks!  5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.  Carnegie Branch, Jackson District Library.  Hosted by Jackson Pride Center.

Exploration Stations.  Ella Sharp Museum presents a new children’s exhibition, Exploration Stations.  Developed by the Ella Sharp Museum, the 2,500 square-foot interactive exhibit features five themed stations — space, construction, home, nature and transportation — connected to unique aspects of the City of Jackson and Jackson County.  Ella Sharp Museum.
