Grand Opening & Premier Ribbon Cutting.  1:00-2:00 pm.  Horace Blackman Park.  Join us to celebrate the Grand Opening and Premier Ribbon Cutting for Zero Bar & Lounge from 1 pm -2 pm. The ribbon will be cut at 1:11 pm.  Zero Bar & Lounge is a mobile non-alcoholic beverage service. It’s the first of its kind in Jackson, MI and surrounding areas. It was founded in August 2022 by two women who believe adults of drinking age deserve exhilarating healthy choices. We specialize in non-alcoholic alternatives that provide the flavor and experience of an adult beverage without the complications of alcohol. They’re lower in calories too! 

5 Second Rule at Mancino’s.  Come on down to Mancino’s from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. Music to be performed by 5-Second Rule. It will be a rocking good time.  Wildwood Avenue, Jackson.

Leoni Township Summer Nights Music in the Park.  6 PM to 9 PM. Concerts in the Leoni Township Park in Michigan Center this summer.  Vendors, Food Trucks, and so much more.  Entertainment tonight by Still Runnin Band.

Kids Planetarium Show:  Imagine the Moon.  12 PM.  When was the last time you looked at the Moon? Not Just noticed it, but really looked at it? To most of us the Moon seems like an afterthought, a thing we might notice in passing and then not give a second glance. But the Moon’s place in our lives is so much more than just its physical presence in the sky. It is a constant companion in our collective imagination.  Hurst Planetarium, Ella Sharp Museum.

May Planetarium Show:  The Hot and Energetic Universe.  4 PM.  High Energy Astrophysics explores hot gas in clusters of galaxies, which are the most massive objects in the universe. It also probes hot gas accretion around supermassive black holes in the centers of galaxies. This documentary uses immersive visualizations and real images from modern astronomy to dive into the basic principles of electromagnetic radiation and the natural phenomena related to High Energy Astrophysics.  Hurst Planetarium, Ella Sharp Museum.
