The Jackson Percussion Concussion.  7:30 PM.  Potter Center Music Hall, Jackson College.  The Jackson College Drumline joins the Detroit Lions Drumline and local high school drumlines for this rhythmic extravaganza! Performing will be drumlines from East Jackson, Jackson, Lumen Christi, Mason, Michigan Center, Napoleon, Northwest, Springport and Western high schools. Lions Drumline members will provide tips in advance of the performance, then all members will perform on the Potter Center’s stage!  Get ready for a fun-filled evening of rhythms, showmanship, and fun at this year’s Percussion Concussion! Tickets are $10 and will be available from the Potter Center Box Office or at the door. There will be T-shirts available for $15 or two for $25 at the event.

Friends of the Eastern Branch Fall Book Sale.  Stop by the Jackson District Library Eastern Branch to shop fiction and non-fiction books, juvenile and young adult books, as well as movies and magazines.  Thursday, November 3: 9 AM – 8 PM.  Friday, November 4: 9 AM – 6 PM.  Saturday, November 5: 9 AM – 2 PM (Saturday is fill a bag of books for $1.)  This event is presented by the Friends of the Jackson District Library and all proceeds support JDL programming.

You’re invited to the First Annual ‘More Than Talk’ DEI Mixer, Hosted by the City of Jackson’s Racial Equity Commission!  5:30 pm, Martin Luther King Jr Center, 1107 Adrian Street, Jackson.
