Red Cross Blood Drive.  11 a.m. – 5:45 p.m., Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church, 120 E. Main Street, Spring Arbor.  As influenza activity picks up, the American Red Cross is urging healthy donors or all blood types to give blood or platelets to ensure a strong supply for patients in need.

Nite Lites Drive Thru Christmas Light Show.  Michigan International Speedway US-12 Entrance only, 12626 US-12, Brooklyn.  5:30 pm – 9 pm Sunday thru Thursday, 5:30 pm – 10:00 pm Friday & Saturday.  Pricing: $25 per car, $40 per mini-bus, limo or motor home, $70 per tour bus.   All major credit cards accepted.  Nite Lites Winter Wonderland:  Dec. 6,7,8, Dec. 13,14,15 and Dec. 20,21,22.  Children will have the opportunity to have their photos taken with Santa and make their Christmas wishes.  Photo s will be taken for a small fee or  you are welcome to visit Santa at no charge.  We will be offering a puppet show and train rides.  Winter Wonderland hours: 6pm-9pm, Santa’s hours: 6:00pm-8:30pm.    Live Reindeer nights only:  December 6th, 13th, and 20th (6pm – 9pm).  This event features food and drinks of the season and a visit from Santa Claus himself!

Christ Lutheran Church Free Community Dinner.  Free community dinner – Building a strong community, one fork at a time. Come for the company and conversation. Second Tuesday of every month.  Christ Lutheran Church, 4250 Page Ave, Michigan Center.

Adopt A Family.  For families struggling to make ends meet, the holidays can be an added source of stress and anxiety.   Community Action Agency’s Adopt-a-Family program tries to ensure that the holiday season is a bit brighter. Staff select individual families within the programs CAA offers that are working towards self-sufficiency. CAA then partners with community members to adopt the individuals and families for the holidays. Partners typically provide at least one new toy and one new outfit for each child in the family, as well as a special holiday meal. Many partners provide more as they are able.
