Grand River Farmer’s Market.  Seasonal, fresh produce from area farmers and vendors.  9 AM to 2 PM,  corner of Glick and Mechanic Streets, Downtown Jackson.

Fill the Blue Bus.  The Jackson YMCA will  be taking the Blue Bus all over Jackson to collect items for our online auction. Bring anything you want to get rid of (big or small, as long as it’s in good condition) to our Blue Bus. We’ll auction everything in November, and proceeds go to help Y kids and families.  On Tuesday, you can find the Blue Bus at:  Polly’s Country Markets – in Brooklyn and Summit/Ferguson Rd. from 10 a.m. to noon.  This is your chance to help a great cause!

Project Homeless Connect.  If you or someone you know is homeless or impoverished, this event is for you. Connect with over 30 Jackson organizations that can help you. Find some winter clothes. Get a free haircut, dental exam, hot meal and more!  1208GREENWOOD will be hosting this year’s event and is located next door to Community Action Agency.  9 AM to 1 PM. 1208 Greenwood Avenue, Jackson.

2018 Biennial Jackson Civic Art Association Art Show.  6 PM to 8 PM.   Artist Reception – Free to Attend.  Meet the artists, enjoy snacks and see the artwork. 7:00 Award presentation by David Hessler.  Paintings, Sculpture, Mixed-Media, Photography and more!  Ella Sharp Museum Community Room.

4th Annual Scarecrow Contest.  Register and pick up a t-post at the Springport Branch, Jackson District Library.  Scarecrows will decorate Springport’s Main Street light posts all month.  Prizes for different age groups.  More information at 517-905-1459.
