Red Cross Blood Drive.  11 AM to 4:45 PM, St. John’s United Church of Christ, 801 South Mechanic Street, Jackson.  As influenza activity picks up, the American Red Cross is urging healthy donors of all blood types to give blood to ensure a strong blood supply for patients in need.

Tech Drop In Tuesdays.  Do you have difficulty in engaging with technology easily? Does it drive you crazy? If so, stop by Carnegie’s Computer Lab Tuesdays between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. You can sit down with one of Adult Service’s helpful staff for assistance with basic hardware and software questions, as well as word-processing help for things like resume building.  If you have a device you would like assistance with, please bring the fully-charged device with you.  10 AM to 12 Noon, Carnegie Branch, Jackson District Library.

Spring Arbor Friends of the Library October Book Sale.  October is here and it’s the perfect time for a scarily good book sale! Spring Arbor’s Friends of the Library are having their Fall book sale. Stop in and see what treasures you can find! Friday will be a $1 per bag fill day (bags provided). Intended for all ages.
