Neighborhood Meeting. Sixth Ward City Councilwoman Colleen Sullivan will hold a neighborhood meeting at 6:00 PM at Steve’s Ranch, 311 W. Louis Glick Hwy. The latest news from the Sixth Ward will be discussed, but the majority of the meeting will focus on the City of Jackson Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control Program. Residents will hear from city officials about how they can take advantage of a grant that stabilizes lead paint hazards in homes. The city has funds available from the federal government to abate lead paint hazards in owner-occupied homes and rentals. Councilwoman Sullivan says residents from all over the city are welcome to attend the meeting to learn the latest from the city, mingle with neighbors, and enjoy food in a casual setting.
