Red Cross Blood Drive 8 a.m. – 1:45 p.m., Vandercook Lake High School, 1000 Golf Avenue. As the American Red Cross responds to Hurricane Florence, providing food, shelter and comfort to those affected, individuals outside the affected areas are urged to help by giving blood or platelets to care for patients in the storm’s path and across the country.

The Grand River Farmers Market is open very Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 am until 2 pm at the corner of Louis Glick & Mechanic St. The market is full of MICHIGAN GROWN PRODUCE including fresh vegetables, fruits, organic goods, vegan cookies, muffins, granola, honey, jams, breads, pastas, jewelry, dog treats, salsas, fruit pies, sweet corn, tomatoes, hanging flower baskets, blueberries, maple syrup, chard, broccoli, peas, mums, and much more!
