Crafting at Carnegie:  Bullet Journal.  Start the New Year with a new way to get organized. Designed to be as flexible as you need, this system could be the answer to all those pieces of papers with scribbled notes stashed in your wallet/bag/pockets. This notebook could replace your to-do list, your calendar, your sketchbook, your journal. It can be any or all of those things. If you want to try a new way to organize your life, join us as we explore the basics of bullet journaling. Bring a notebook (any size) and maybe a favorite pen.  If you already keep a bullet journal? Free Admission.   Description of the film : After her ailing mother wanders off during a blizzard, Bridget returns to her childhood home in Chicago, accompanied by her rebellious daughter. Forced to referee between her father’s stubborn insistence that his wife remains at home and her equally determined brother’s efforts to place her in a “memory care” facility, Bridget struggles to make sense of a lifetime of family conflict. With her mother’s decline becoming increasingly obvious, long-simmering resentments bubble to the surface.  Michigan Theatre, Downtown Jackson.

Join us to explore a pallet of brilliant colors as we put brush to canvas, creating works of art that will impress. Learn the basic of color-mixing, brush technique, light and shading, as you create stunning finished paintings on canvas.  Jackson School of the Arts, 634 North Mechanic Street, Jackson.

Wednesday Family Night at Allskate.  Bring the whole family, Mom, Dad and the kids! Admission is only $4, skate rental $, Laser Tag only $4. Early Bird Food specials will be featured, so bring your appetite as well. Family Fun Pack only $40 includes: Skating, rental skates, 10 game tokens each, 1 game of Laser Tag each for (4) people.
