Property Tax Foreclosure Forum.  Information and resources for those facing property tax foreclosure. Topics will include a detailed explanation of the property tax foreclosure process and a description of resources available in our community. Information provided for homeowners and renters.  Participating Organizations include:  Jackson County Treasurer Karen Coffman, Legal Services of South Central Michigan, Community Action Agency, Jackson Housing Commission and Southeastern Dispute Resolution Services.  Intended for Adults  and Property Owners.  7 PM to 8:30 PM, Carnegie Branch, Jackson District Library.

DIY Organic Bath Bombs and Lip Balms.  Simple ingredients come together to make an organic lip balm and bath bombs. Makes a great gift! Registration is required, please call the hosting branch to reserve a spot.  Wednesday, 1/9 @ 6pm.  Carnegie Branch, Jackson District Library.

Family Night at Allskate Fun Center.  Bring the whole family, Mom, Dad and the kids! Adm is only $4, skate rental $, Laser Tag only $4. Early Bird Food specials will be featured, so bring your appetite as well. Family Fun Pack only $40 includes: Skating, rental skates, 10 game tokens each, 1 game of Laser Tag each for (4) people. ($10 for additional members, 1 parent must remain present)  Skate mates $5 + deposit.  5 PM to 8 PM, Allskate Fun Center, 1313 West North Street.

Snowman Mason Jars.  This mason jar snowman will melt your heart!  We’ll use mason jars, yarn and glue to make an adorable snowman candle holder or vase.  Space is limited and registration is required. Please call the Brooklyn Branch at (517) 905-1369 to save a spot.  Intended for Adults.  Brooklyn Branch, Jackson District Library.  5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

The Jackson Camera Club is having a photography exhibit at the Eastern Branch, Jackson District Library for the month of January, during open hours.
