National Transportation Week Activities at Jackson Area Transportation Authority Downtown Transfer Station.  Art Contest, Prize Drawings and Giveaways, Safety Pup and more.  Free popcorn each day between 10 AM and 3 PM.  Have a hot dog lunch with drink for $0.75.  Art Contest winners announcement today.  Learn about JATA’s new Track Your Bus real-time bus locator app.

Jackson Spartans Spring 2019 Bar Crawl.  Join fellow Spartans for our second Jackson Spartans Bar Crawl, Wednesday, May 15, 2019, in Downtown Jackson!  Attendance is free to any and all, but if you purchase a wristband for $5, you’ll be eligible for tempting Spartan-only specials at Bella Notte Ristorante, Chase Sports Bar, The Dirty Bird, Grand River Brewery, Junkyard Dog, and the Nite Lite. Designated driver wristbands are free, and will get you deals on non-alcoholic drinks and food because you are someone’s hero. Wristbands also include eligibility for prizes at the end of the night, including gift cards from some of our generous host bars!  Whether you’ll be getting a wristband or not, please RSVP to the event here.   Spartan attire is encouraged, and may also earn you a prize.
