Thanksgiving Eve:  Woah Woah Yeah Yeah (DJ SET).  8 PM.   Come party with us the night before Thanksgiving! It’s our official 1 Year Anniversary and we’re bringing Woah Woah Yeah Yeah (formerly DJ Carlos) by to keep it upbeat with the beats from 8-11 PM.  Ogma Brewing Company, 129 East Michigan Avenue, Downtown Jackson.

“A Night Under the Covers” Acoustic Night.  7 PM to 11 PM.  Join us for a special evening of non-stop acoustic jams featuring Sir Richard, Joey Maiers and Dylan Bullinger!  Ironbark Brewing Company, 2610 Kibby Road, Jackson.

308 Brass Rail Thanksgiving Pop Up.  6 PM.  308 Brass Rail will be hosting Jenny’s Handmade Designs LLC and Patty Cakes the night before and day after Thanksgiving. Come have a drink and some amazing food while enjoying a night out with friends. You can also get some Christmas shopping done while supporting small businesses. Free Beer Band at Denton’s Den.  8 PM to 11 PM.  Come on down and party with the Free Beer band on Wednesday, Nov 23rd at Denton’s Den. We will have a great time.  802 East Michigan Avenue, Jackson.

Reading the Rainbow Book Club.  6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.  Join our Reading the Rainbow Book Club – a book group for LGBTQIA+ youth and allies to meet and discuss stories and make friends in a safe environment – on the fourth Thursday of every month. Our reading selections will be varied, with materials being chosen based on the interests of the group and group input!  This book club is geared toward Youth between the ages of 13 and 18 years old. We will meet in the auditorium of the Carnegie Building unless otherwise stated.  Jackson District Library.

Community Coffee Time.  Join us for a cup of coffee and some conversation!  Summit Branch: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2-5 PM. (Click here for the Summit Branch activities schedule.)  Carnegie Library: Wednesdays, 10-11:30 AM.

Horizon Exhibit.  The Ella Sharp Museum is thrilled to be the premier location for this amazing new traveling exhibition from the Museum of Special Art (MOSA).  The Horizon Exhibition features an eclectic collection of realistic, modern and abstract works from 18 different artists from across the U.S., Spain, and Canada. This exhibition is one that will truly leave you inspired as our community celebrates the gifts and talents of artists of differing abilities. The Ella Sharp Museum is dedicated to embracing and sharing artwork from all individuals. This exhibition is an example of inclusivity of work from a variety of artists of all ages with various experiences and abilities.  Open during museum hours.
