Jackson Camera Club Event.  The Jackson Camera Club welcomes special guest speaker Roy Dane from Picture This… Jackson on Wednesday, November 7th. Mr. Dane will be speaking about Macro Photography. Visitors with all levels of interest in photography are welcome!   The Jackson Camera Club meets most 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from September through May (current schedule is available at jacksoncameraclubmi.org). Meetings are at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1505 W Michigan Ave, Jackson, Michigan. (Please arrive by 6:55 pm as doors are locked when the meeting starts.)

Holiday Silent Auction.  Stop by the Hanover Branch of the Jackson District Library for the Friends of the Library Holiday Silent Auction! This is a perfect opportunity to get your shopping done early and acquire some wonderful, creative gifts for everyone on your list.  The auction is during the Branch’s open hours: Monday: 1 to 6pm, Wednesday: 10 to 7pm, Friday: 1 to 6pm. Escape Room for Kids: Run, Turkey, Run!  Concord Branch, Jackson District Library.  4 PM to 5 PM.  Gobble, Gobble!  Oh, no! Turkey’s idea to change Farmer’s mind about dinner was locked in a box. You have 45 minutes to unlock the box before Farmer catches Turkey.  Based on the book, “Run, Turkey, Run,” by Diane Mayr.  Concord Branch in cooperation with BreakoutEDU.

Cheap Skate and Laser Tag Night.  Skate & Laser Tag only $3 every Wed. night 6-8pm  Adm. is only $3, skate rentals are only $3 and Rapid Fire Laser Tag is only $3.  So bring the whole Family, Mom, Dad & the kids!  You can have so much fun and on a budget!
