Red Cross Blood Drive.  Concord High School, 219 Monroe Street, Concord.  8 AM to 2:45 PM.  This May, the Red Cross is calling for donors to give blood and platelets regularly to be prepared to meet the needs of patients in emergency situations.  redcrossblood.org

Purls & String Knitting Circle.  Join us at the Carnegie Branch! Join us for a monthly knitting circle in which knitters of all levels can share and learn! Master knitter Alana White will be on hand to answer your questions and assist with all knitting projects. Join us on the first Tuesday of the month from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Intended for adults.  Carnegie Branch, Jackson District Library.

Walk Jackson.  This a FREE event! The first Walk Jackson event is this evening at Ella Sharp Park (Big Parking lot by the soccer fields). Registration begins at 6:30pm to 7:00pm. Warm up is at 6:50pm. This is a three mile walk .   Door prizes will be awarded at the completion of each walk.
