Red Cross Blood Drive at Commonwealth Commerce Center, 10:15 AM to 4 PM.  Donors of all blood types are urged to roll up a sleeve this May to help meet the needs of trauma patients and others with serious medical conditions. Taize Ecumenical Service.  The third Wednesday of each month we hold a Taizé service at Jackson’s First Presbyterian Church. Everyone is invited to this meditative reflective time of silence, song, and scripture. People often find the simple Taizé music to be prayerful and peaceful, and even healing. 7 PM, 743 West Michigan Avenue.

Complementary Dinner and Hearing Health Seminar with Community Hearing Center.  Join Dr. Kelli Bogue, Audiologist and owner of Community Hearing Center, and Audiologist Larry Byle, M.A., to learn about how hearing loss affects overall health, and current hearing solutions that are available.  Bella Notte Ristorante, 137 West Michigan Avenue, Downtown Jackson.  6 PM.  Seating is limited.  Please RSVP to 517-888-5055.

Forget-Me-Not Pots at the Jackson District Library.  Keep special moments close this Memorial Day with this special memory pot craft, complete with a live geranium plant.
