Book Sale.  Presented by the Friends of the Spring Arbor Branch, Jackson District Library.  Friends of the Library are having their spring book sale. Stop in and see what treasures you can find!   Today from 10 AM-7 PM.

Swiss Steak Dinner.  The Sandstone Congregational Church will be hosting its Swiss Steak Dinner on May 23, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. The menu will be Swiss steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, vegetables, rolls, beverage and dessert.   The cost is $9.00.  The Fellowship Center is on the lower level. Parking is available at both the lower and upper level with elevator access to the lower level.  Take outs are available.  For more information call 750-4245 or 474-1209.

American Red Cross Blood Drive. 10 AM to 3:45 PM, Jackson County Fairgrounds, American 1 Events Center.  Donors of all blood types are urged to roll up a sleeve this May to help meet the needs of trauma patients and others with serious medical conditions.

Pre-School Story Time and Craft.  Join us at the Parma Branch, Jackson District Library at 12 Noon for stories, crafts, and fun. Intended for ages 3 to 5.

Goonies at the Michigan Theatre.  Career Quest Learning Centers is sponsoring a FREE movie night at the Michigan Theatre, open to the public! Featuring ‘The Goonies,’ a classic tale about young kids who go on a quest in hopes to find buried treasure and save their home, but run into many challenging obstacles along the way. This kid-friendly comedy makes it the perfect opportunity for a fun family night out, perfect for all ages. Doors open at 6 P.M and the start time for the movie is 7 P.M. Admission is free and concessions are available for purchase.

Feast of the Spring at Grand River Brewery.  5 Course Dinner featuring seasonal Michigan foods paired with cocktails, beers, and wines.  Each course is specially curated with a unique drink to create a truly amazing dining experience. These food items are not from our mainstay menu but unique to this event. Tickets for all five courses are $65 and include drinks with each course.  Details and menu here.  7 PM to 10 PM.
