Jonesville 52, Concord 43: The Yellow Jackets lost a road showdown in the Big Eight Conference. Concord is now 12-3 on the season.
East Jackson 55, Manchester 40: East Jackson earned its fourth win of the season with a victory against Manchester.
Vandercook Lake 65, Hanover-Horton 56: The Jayhawks improved to 15-1 on the season with the road win. Hanover-Horton is 7-8 overall for the season.
Marshall 79, Lumen Christi 37: The Titans are 3-15 on the season with the loss.
Napoleon 57, Michigan Center 41: The Pirates won a big Cascades Conference home game against the Cardinals. Trent Jester scored 19 points and Zach Johnson added 14 points for Napoleon (13-2). Michigan Center (11-5) was led by Carter Kosmet with 13 points and Daylen Hinkle scoring 10 points.
Coldwater 41, Northwest 31: Northwest falls to 6-10 with the road loss at Coldwater.
Western 54, Hastings 46: Western High School trailed by nearly 10 points in the second quarter, but earned a comeback win. Cooper Johnston scored 20 points and Cole Wilcox added 11 points for Western (7-9). “We got off to a slow start, but our guys kept battling and created enough turnovers late to put the game away,” WHS Coach Ryan Mulnix said. “This was a good win for our guys and hopefully we can build some momentum going into the last two weeks of the regular season.”
Quincy 39, Springport 34: The Spartans fall to 0-15 on the season with the loss.
Girls basketball
Marshall 61, Lumen Christi 30: Cami Crandall scored 10 points to lead Lumen Christi (1-16).
Northwest 47, Coldwater 38: The Mounties trailed 18-15 at halftime, but turned it up a notch in the second half. Teja Kapp scored 14 points, Layne Sleight added 11 points and Mara Mitchell scored 10 points for Northwest (13-5).
Western 68, Hastings 28: Alyna Lewis scored 12 points and pulled down nine rebounds and Riley Kubiak added 12 points and five rebounds for Western. Reece Hitt finished with 11 points and nine assists for the Panthers. The Panthers are 17-1 and undefeated in the Interstate-8 Conference following the win.
East Jackson 57, Manchester 20: The Trojans have won eight-of-nine games improving to 14-4 on the season. Mariah Kerley scored 13 points and Addisyn Rudd finished with 11 for East Jackson.
Michigan Center 39, Napoleon 32: Samantha Wynn scored 21 points, pulled down 11 rebounds, and created seven steals for Michigan Center (8-8) in the win. Julia Reynolds filled the statistical sheet with five rebounds, four assists, and three steals for the Cardinals. Karson Fairbanks scored 11 points to lead Napoleon (6-11).
Competitive cheer
Division 4 District Tournament at Hudson: Hanover-Horton qualified for the regional tournament with a third-place finish scoring 659 at Hudson. Hudson won the event with 752, Addison was second 683, and Leslie earned the final qualifying spot with 627. Vandercook Lake was fifth (599), Napoleon finished seventh (572), Springport was eighth (556), Lumen Christi placed ninth (540), and Grass Lake finished 11th (528).
Division 3 District Tournament at Columbia Central: Michigan Center finished fifth (724) and Columbia Central was 10th (609) at a very competitive district tournament. It took a score of 725 or higher to advance to the regional round. Grosse Ile edged Onsted by .02 points (745.50 – 745.48) to claim the district title. Monroe Jefferson (742) and Flat Rock (725) were the other two regional qualifiers.
Northwest, Western at Pinckney D-2 District: Western High School finished 13th (636) and Northwest was 14th (627). It took a score of 752 to advance to the regional tournament.

Vandercook Lake 17, Michigan Center 13: Camren Lackey rolled a 298 game and Colby LaRock bowled a 249 game for Vandercook Lake.
Napoleon 18, East Jackson 12: Steven Tripp finished with a 210 game and Jordan Tripp added a 198 game for the Trojans.
Girls Bowling
Vandercook Lake 22.5, Michigan Center 7.5: Mariah Rodriguez had a 323 series and Brianna Langley rolled a 203 game for the Jayhawks.
Napoleon 26, East Jackson 4: Desiree Poole rolled a 169 game and Katie Deault finished with a 168 game for East Jackson.
