Boys basketball 

Napoleon 85, Manchester 53: All 12 players scored for the Pirates, led by Zach Johnson with 10 points and Jason Negus and Holden VanPoppel each scoring nine points apiece. Napoleon is 14-2 overall with the victory.   

Reading 60, Concord 57: The Yellow Jackets had a shot at tying the game in the final seconds. Graeley Sprague scored 30 points, Mehki Wingfield scored 11 points, and Isaac Waldron finished with 10 points for Concord. Both teams are tied in the Big Eight Conference with three losses. 

Jackson 70, Adrian 55: The Vikings improved to 8-10 on the season with the SEC road win. 

Marshall 77, Western 58: Western (7-10) was led by Kamerin Carter with 15 points, Cole Wilcox also finished in double figures with 11 points, and  Caden Oliver and Cooper Johnston finished with nine and eight points respectively.

Columbia Central 55, Ida 41: Columbia Central is on a six-game winning streak with the victory. They are 11-6 overall for the season. 

Harper Creek 71, Lumen Christi 47: The Titans are 3-16 with one regular season game remaining. 

Northwest 63, Hastings 56: The Mounties improve to 7-10 with the win. 

Girls basketball 

Columbia Central 40, Ida 36: Zoie Bamm scored 16 points and Ava Lyke and Tadassa Brown each scored nine points for CCHS (13-4). The Golden Eagles are 11-1 in the Lenawee County Athletic Association.   

Arbor Prep 65, Grass Lake 38: Freshman Kate Starkey scored 15 points for the Warriors (13-5). GLHS leading scorer Gabi Lutchka left the game in the second quarter with an ankle injury. 

 

East Jackson 68, Napoleon 38: Four players scored in double figures for the Trojans. Brynn Mericle scored 16 points, Mariah Kerley tallied 14 points, Savana Stewart finished with 12 points, and Addisyn Rudd added 11 points for East Jackson (15-4). Napoleon is 6-12 on the season with the loss. 

Michigan Center 40, Hanover-Horton 34: The Cardinals were led by Julia Reynolds with 19 points and three assists and Samantha Wynn added 13 points and eight rebounds. Michigan Center (9-8) outscored the Comets 11-6 down the stretch in the fourth quarter. Morgan Kuhl scored 10 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for Hanover-Horton (4-15). 

Jackson 61, Adrian 26: The Vikings are 5-11 on the season. 

Hillsdale Academy 32, Jackson Christian 19: The Royals are 4-14 following the loss. 

Harper Creek 58, Lumen Christi 48: The Titans are 1-17 with the Interstate-8 Conference loss. 

Northwest 56, Hastings 36: The Mounties avenged a 1-point loss to Hastings earlier in the year. Northwest jumped out to a 21-10 lead after eight minutes of play. Ashley Weller finished with 13 points, Mara Mitchell scored 12 points, Layne Sleight tallied 11 points, and Olivia Lamb scored eight points. 

Western 63, Marshall 33:  Western won its third consecutive Interstate-8 Conference title with the win. Leading the Panthers was Alyna Lewis with 19 points and Reece Hitt, Lilli Luma and Hillary Griffin all scoring 10 points.  The Panthers remained undefeated in Interstate-8 Conference play. Western is 18-1 overall with the victory. 

Boys Bowling

Northwest 25, Marshall 5: Cody Hall finished with a 402 series and Logan Jahr rolled a 392 series to lead Northwest.   The Mounties are Interstate-8 Conference champions for a fourth consecutive season with the win.
