Baseball Regional Semifinals

Division 3

Grass Lake 6, Hudson 2: The Warriors scored one run in the seventh inning to tie the game at one-all on a hit by Jack Reid. Grass Lake scored five times in the top of the eighth inning to pull ahead. Reid finished with two hits and two RBIs and Avin Sandoval finished with one hit and two RBIs. Brayden Lape pitched 7.1 innings and struck out nine batters. The Warriors (26-9) advance to the Division 3 regional final Saturday against Bridgman (23-5) at Adrian College at 10 a.m. With a win, they would play in the Division 3 quarterfinal at approx. 3 p.m. at Adrian College.

Lumen Christi 2, Jonesville 0: Jackson Kremer pitched a two hitter and struck out six batters on the mound for the Titans. Gabe King and Max McCluskey each recorded a pair of hits for Lumen Christi (28-6). The Titans advance to the Division 3 regional final Saturday at 12:30 p.m. against Ottawa Lake Whiteford (21-10) at Adrian College. With a win, Lumen Christi advances to the Division 3 quarterfinals (the same day) at approx. 3 p.m. at Adrian, against Bridgman or Grass Lake.

Division 4

Concord 10, Tekonsha 0: Concord scored seven times in the seventh inning of the Division 4 regional semifinal at Colon High School. Gavin Riske and Gage Riske each finished with one hit and two RBIs for the Yellow Jackets. C Arbuckle and J Medellin combined for a one-hitter as Arbuckle struck out seven batters. Concord (23-12-1) advances to the regional final Saturday at Lumen Christi Catholic High School Saturday against Decatur (27-2) at 10 a.m. With a win, the Yellow Jackets would advance to the quarterfinals at approx. 2 p.m. at LCCHS.
