Addison 52, Napoleon 34: Addison wins its third consecutive Cascades Conference with the victory. Nicholas Trumble ran for 115 yards and three touchdowns for Addison (8-0 overall, 6-0 conference). Ryan Worsham also ran for 105 yards and one score for the Panthers. Nick Marienfeld scored three times for the Pirates. Grant Bradley was 14-for-16 passing for Napoleon. Holden VanPoppel made seven tackles on the defensive side of the football for Napoleon (5-3 overall, 4-2 conference). 

Hudson 54, Columbia Central 6: Hudson wins on the road in the Lenawee County Athletic Association. 

Concord 28, Merrill 20: Mark File threw for 248 yards and three touchdowns for the Yellow Jackets. Mekhi Wingfield caught eight passes for 107 yards and one score. Ja’Vion Taylor returned an interception 91 yards for a touchdown for Concord. Logan Lamb led Concord with 19 tackles and an interception on the defensive side of the football. Concord is 3-5 overall for the season. 

Michigan Center 48, East Jackson 0: The Cardinals finish second in the Cascades Conference with the win. Kaydin Hiland finished with 104 rushing yards and two scores. Kicker Reid Scaife was 7-for-7 on extra points and added a pair of field goals for Michigan Center (7-1 overall, 5-1 Cascades Conference). East Jackson is 0-8 overall, 0-6 Cascades Conference. Austin Tingley threw for 76 yards for the Trojans. 

Jonesville 48, Hanover-Horton 16: Troy Densmore and Blaise Uphaus scored for Hanover-Horton. The Comets are 3-5 overall for the season.  

Lumen Christi 33, Western 0: Derrick Walker ran for 159 yards and scored two touchdowns for the Titans. Lumen Christi earned a share of the Interstate-8 Conference title with the win. Colin Morrow scored twice for the Titans (7-1 overall, 6-1 I-8). Landon Heavy finished with 13 tackles for Western (5-3 overall, 4-3 I-8). 

B.C. Pennfield 48, Northwest 7:  Isaiah Grybauskas ran for 100 yards and one touchdown for the Mounties (1-7 overall, 0-7 I-8). 

Union City 36, Springport 16:  Springport’s Matt Riehle finished 15-for-27 passing for 108 yards through the air. Springport is 2-6 overall for the season.  

Mason 49, Jackson 8: Dectrick Reed scored the only touchdown for Jackson (4-4 overall).   

Fulton 64, Vandercook Lake 34: Andrew Cheney finished with 300 yards of offense for Vandercook Lake (1-7 overall).  

Boys tennis

Division 3 State Finals

D-3 at Midland: Nick Hendrickson/Hudson Valentine headed to the quarterfinals with a win at No. 3 doubles. Jacob Collins/Connor Ganzel won a match before losing in the next round at No. 4 doubles. 

Division 4 State Finals

D-4 at Ann Arbor: Rain forced the entire tournament to be played at the University of Michigan Tennis Center. Doubles matches were scheduled to be played at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School. Daniel Pero of Columbia Central High School earned a bye with the No. 5 seed. He won the first match to advance to the quarterfinals on Saturday. Anthony Johnstone won a match for Lumen Christi at No. 4 singles and advances to the quarterfinals. Noah Lee earned a No. 6 seed at No. 3 singles and is still alive in the tournament. Jack Melnick/Brendan Stephens earned a pair of wins at No. 1 doubles for the Titans. 

Girls Golf

Division 2

Division 2 state finals: Natalie Kulka of Jackson High School is 13-over-par through 16 holes according to iWannamaker.com. She is tied for 22nd individually. The tournament will conclude on Saturday with the continuation of round one and 18 holes. 

Division 3

Division 3 state finals: Western High School is 13th as a team following the first round of the MHSAA Division 3 state golf finals at Forest Akers West Golf Course on Friday. The Panthers shot a 391 led by Brune Savage with a 91 and Sydnie Redovich with a 92. The tournament concluded Saturday with an 18-hole final beginning at 10 a.m. 

Division 4 state finals: Kamryn Shannon of Michigan Center High School holds at two-stoke lead heading into the second round of the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 4 state finals. Shannon shot a 2-under-par 70 at the D-4 finals at Forest Akers East Golf Course on Friday. Logan Bentley of Columbia Central is fourth following a 79. Lumen Christi is third as a team 13 strokes behind Lansing Catholic and 12 behind Montague. The Titans were led by Ashley Hilderley with an 81 and Caroline Hilderley with an 83. Michigan Center is eighth as a team (380) and Hanover-Horton is 17th (437). The tournament concludes Saturday with an 18-hole final starting at 10 a.m.
