Volleyball

Chelsea 3, Jackson 0: Chelsea defeated Jackson 25-17, 25-15, 25-19. Kulayjah Weller had 11 kills, three blocks and nine digs for the Vikings (6-10-3). 

Jackson Christian 3, Bellevue 0: The Royals defeated Bellevue 25-6, 25-22, and 25-18. Julianna McCombs finished with six kills, Madi Conrad dished 15 assists and served five aces, and Elizabeth Peterson accomplished her first varsity kill for JCHS.  

Napoleon 3, Michigan Center 0: The Pirates won 25-19, 25-20, and 25-18 in Cascades Conference action. Alyssa Budd finished with 13 kills and Maggie Beer tallied 10 kills. Momo Hampton dished 25 assists, and Keegan Schoendorf finished with 12 digs for the Pirates. Kaylee Johnson finished with 20 digs, Sam Wynn recorded 15 kills, and Jordyn Mees dished 26 assists for the Cardinals. 

Concord 3, Quincy 1: The Yellow Jackets defeated Quincy 25-19, 25-19, 17-25, and 25-19. Iyla Weeks finished with 22 kills, Layla Hellard dished assists, and Emma Burbo finished with 15 digs for Concord. 

Grass Lake 3, East Jackson 0: The Trojans won 25-21, 25-17, and 29-27 in Cascades Conference action. The Warriors celebrated senior night for Abby Buttigieg, Layne Terry, and Samantha Caldwell. Buttigieg was 24-for-24 at the service line with 18 points and Olivia Turner tallied nine kills for Grass Lake. 

Columbia Central 3, Dundee 1: The Golden Eagles won 25-14, 22-25, 25-20, and 25-22 at home in Lenawee County Athletic Association action. Jadyn Richardson finished with 19 kills and Allie Jarchow netted 13 kills and four blocks. Berlynn Lyke dished 40 assists, Ava Lyke finished with 10 digs, and Rylie Ayelsworth finished with seven kills for CCHS. 

Manchester 3, Hanover-Horton 1: The Comets lost 22-25, 25-20, 25-19, and 25-15 in Cascades Conference action. Chelsea Russ finished with eight kills and four blocks, Natalee Krage dished 27 assists, and Becca Uphaus recorded 28 digs for the Comets. 

Jonesville 3, Springport 0: The Spartans lost 25-14, 25-14, and 25-15 in Big Eight Conference action. 

Boys cross country

Manchester 27, Napoleon 40, Michigan Center 55: Kyler Pequet of Napoleon High School finished third overall in 18:10, teammate Jamison Swope finished fifth in 19:21, and Nathan Paddock of Michigan Center finished in 19:24. Xander Manzer of Michigan Center placed eighth (19:32), Aiden Thorne of Napoleon finished ninth (19:34), and Timmy Reimers of Michigan Center rounded out the top 10 (19:53). 

Hanover-Horton 20, East Jackson 48, Addison 69: Rogan Melling (16:38) and Austin Brown (17:21) finished first and second respectively for the Comets. Michael Allen of East Jackson finished third overall in 17:30. 

Girls cross country

Hanover-Horton 15, East Jackson, Addison no scores: The Comets were the only school able to post five times by runners. Olivianna Watkins finished second overall (22:32), teammate Alexis Flint was third (22:40), and Lily Mason of HHHS placed fourth (22:46). 

Napoleon 27, Manchester 30: Lauren McLain of Napoleon was second (21:26), teammate Madelyn Norman finished third (22:34), and Alexa Burgess placed sixth (23:07). Marissa Benn of Napoleon finished seventh (23:36), Kate Paterson of Michigan Center was ninth (23:59), and Napoleon runner Makenzy Lindemann rounded out the top 10 (24:32). 

Boys soccer

Coldwater 7, Lumen Christi 0: The Titans fell to 4-4-2 following the Interstate-8 Conference loss. 

Girls golf

Independent Golf League Final: Columbia Central High School finished second to Lenawee Christian in the Independent Golf League final at Lakeland Hills Golf Course. LC finished with 347 and CCHS shot 383 in the 18-hole tournament. Concord finished fourth with 481. Columbia Central was led by Logan Bentley who earned medalist honors with an 80 and Marrisa Berro shot a 97. Bentley earned the medalist honors for the league with a 38.4 average per nine holes. Berro, Kelsey Fausz, and Iliana Fowle earned second-team all-conference honors. Concord was led by Hannah Stimer with a 102 and Faith Moore with a 117. Both earned second-team all-conference honors. 

Boys tennis

Western 8, Hastings 0: The Panthers continued to be undefeated in the Interstate-8 Conference with the victory. Seth Keana, Nick Keeler, and Noah McCollum lost only one game at Nos. 1-3 singles respectively.
