Columbia Central 3, Hillsdale 2: Jaden Bates scored 18 kills and tallied 23 digs for the Golden Eagles. Ave Lyke dished 28 assists, Allie Jarchow finished with 16 kills, and Zoie Bamm had four blocks for CCHS. The Golden Eagles are 7-1 in the Lenawee County Athletic Association. 

Union City 3, Concord 2: The Yellow Jackets won the first two games, but were swept the last three games of the match. Iyla Weeks led Concord with 18 kills, Layla Hellard recorded 26 assists, and Emma Burbo finished with 12 digs for Concord.  

Michigan Center 3, East Jackson 0: Sam Wynn tallied 14 kills and 11 digs for Michigan Center. Jordyn Mees dished 20 assists for MCHS. 

Hanover-Horton 3, Vandercook Lake 0: Natalee Krage finished with 34 assists and Morgan Kuhl tallied 15 kills for Hanover-Horton. 

Manchester 3, Grass Lake 1:  Olivia Turner led with 15 kills and 26 digs for Grass Lake.  

Colon 3, Jackson Christian 0: Madi Conrad finished with seven assists and Maggie Hollowood recorded four kills for Jackson Christian. 

Napoleon 3, Addison 1: Alyssa Budd and Maggie Beer combined for 26 kills and Momo Hampton tallied 34 assists for the Pirates. 

Boys cross country


Grass Lake, Addison at Manchester: Manchester High School won the tri-meet with 21 points, Grass Lake scored 35, and Addison 73. Alex Holda led Grass Lake with a fourth-place finish (18:15) and teammate Emmet Van Cleave finished fifth (19:29). 

Michigan Center, Hanover-Horton at Vandercook Lake:  Hanover-Horton High School swept the top seven places in the varsity race. 

Girls cross country

Grass Lake, Addison at Manchester: Grass Lake High School won the event with 22 points and Manchester scored 35. Grass Lake swept positions 2-4 as Ava Viegelahn was second (21:32), Grace Bullock finished third (22:13). Katie Million was fourth (22:13), and Taylor Hoppe placed fifth (22:28). 

Hanover-Horton, Michigan Center at Vandercook Lake: The Comets swept the top places in the varsity race at Vandercook Lake. 

Boys soccer

Columbia Central 4, Blissfield 0: The Golden Eagles defeated Blissfield for the second time this season in league play.  

Marshall 9, Lumen Christi 1: Marshall High School won the Interstate-8 Conference match at home on Tuesday. 

Coldwater 2, Northwest 1: Coldwater High School won the Interstate-8 Conference match on the road.  

Girls golf

Madison Invitational: Columbia Central High School won the event with a four-man total of 372. Concord finished third scoring 446. Logan Bentley from CCHS shot a 79 and Kelsey Fausz finished with an 89. Hannah Stimer of Concord finished fourth overall with a 97. 

Pre-regional tournament: Lumen Christi Catholic High School won the event at Pine Hills Golf Course with a 376. Ashley Hilderley shot an 80 and Michaela Hauer finished with a 91. 

Cascades Conference final: East Jackson High School won the Cascades Conference final at Sharp Park Golf Course. The Trojans finished with a team total of 410. Grass Lake was second (449), Michigan Center placed third (473), Hanover-Horton scored 477, and Napoleon only had three players. Anna McCubbins of Napoleon won the medalist honors with a 79 – leading the league in scoring average for the season. Addisyn Rudd shot a 90 for East Jackson, Kylie McKee of Michigan Center finished with a 96, Julie Johnson of Grass Lake and Mariah Kerley of East Jackson shot 99s, and Jessica Swihart of Michigan Center and Drew Swihart of Hanover-Horton tied for sixth with 103s. East Jackson and Grass Lake tied for the conference title based on jamboree results from the season.

Lumen Christi 4, Harper Creek 2: The Titans lead 4-2 in a home match delayed by rain.

Northwest 8, Marshall 0: The Mounties clinched the No. 2 seed heading into the Interstate-8 Conference tournament. Northwest is 14-2 overall for the season. Mason Schroeder, Drew Maples, Alex Thrun, and Jayden Hoffbauer won at Nos. 1-4 singles for Northwest. The Mounties swept the doubles matches, outscoring Marshall 48-7.
