Columbia Central 3, Onsted 0: The Golden Eagles are 5-1 in the Lenawee County Athletic Association following the road win at Onsted.  

Grass Lake 3, Manchester 1: The Warriors split the first two games but came back to win 25-16 and 25-19. Ruby Johnson had 16 kills, Monique Diehl finished with five blocks, Catherine Cottle tallied 30 assists, and Abby Buttigieg finished with 16 digs for Grass Lake. 

Napoleon 3, Addison 0: Napoleon High School won 25-20, 25-17, and 25-15 at home on Tuesday. Alyssa Budd scored 10 kills, Momo Hampton dished 19 assists, and Kaitlyn Pequet finished with 18 digs for the Pirates. 

Bronson 3, Concord 0: Bronson High School defeated Concord 25-18, 25-14, and 25-19 on the road Tuesday. Georgia Weeks finished with five kills and three blocks, Hadley Kettwich finished with 11 assists, and Rylee Weeks tallied 13 digs for Concord. 

Michigan Center 3, East Jackson 0: The Cardinals defeated East Jackson at home on Tuesday. MCHS senior Kennedy Kelley served 18 consecutive points to start the match and finished the night with 24 service points and six aces. Samantha Wynn tallied six kills, Cydnie Tedrow added five kills, and Olivia Shown finished with nine digs for the Cardinals. 

Hanover-Horton 3, Vandercook Lake 0: The Comets defeated the Jayhawks 25-12, 25-21, and 25-14. Natalee Krage had 11 kills, Lilly Wooster finished with 10 kills, Becca Uphaus tallied nine kills, and Alana VanEpps recorded 36 assists for Hanover-Horton. 

Athens 3, Jackson Christian 0: Athens defeated Jackson Christian 25-7, 25-6, and 25-11 on Tuesday.  

Girls Cross country

LCAA at Hudson: Columbia Central High School finished fifth (114) as Hope Wilkes finished fourth (22:44) and Kate O’Neil placed seventh (23:01). Onsted won the event with 42 points. 

Jackson at Skyline: Jackson High School finished 11th in the girls’ event with 300 points. Ann Arbor Pioneer dominated the event with the top three finishers and 19 points. Olivia Perrine of Jackson placed 28th with a time of 21:10. 

I-8 at Western: Lumen Christi Catholic High School finished second (45), Western was third (60), and Northwest finished sixth (161) at Western. Marshall won the event with 33 points. Madison Osterberg won the event for LCCHS with a time of 20 minutes, 43 seconds. Alyna Lewis of Western was second (21:44), Layla Lopez of LCCHS placed fifth (23:26), and teammate Gabrielle Osterberg was seventh (23:54).  

Boys Cross country

LCAA at Hudson: Jacob Walker won another race for Columbia Central with a time of 17 minutes, 8 seconds. The Golden Eagles finished seventh with 163 points. Clinton won the event with a score of 33.  

Jackson at Skyline: Jackson High School finished ninth in the event with 243 points. Nathan Hobbs of Jackson placed 27th in 17:21 for the Vikings. Ann Arbor Pioneer won the 13-team event with 70 points. 

I-8 at Western: The boys’ race was postponed due to lightning in the area.

Pennfield at Lumen Christi: The match was postponed near halftime due to lightning in the area.  

Western at Northwest : The match was postponed due to lightning. 

Boys tennis

Hillsdale at Columbia Central: The match was rescheduled to Sept. 23 at 4:30 p.m. at CCHS due to transportation issues.
