Girls volleyball

Napoleon 3, Stockbridge 0: The Pirates earned a 25-21, 25-13, and 25-11 win at Stockbridge. Momo Hampton had 22 assists, Sam Conaway recorded nine kills, and Kaitlyn Pequet finished with 11 digs for Napoleon (14-8-1). 

Lansing Christian 3, Jackson Christian 0: The Royals lost 25-13, 25-15, and 25-10 against Lansing Christian. Liv Conrad had three digs and Madi Conrad finished with two kills and two aces for Jackson Christian. 

Michigan Center 3, Springport 1: The Cardinals won the first two sets, lost set number three, but came back with a 25-14 in the fourth set. Samantha Wynn led MCHS with 23 kills, Kennedy Kelley finished with 23 assists, Jordyn Mees finished with 22 digs, and Olivia Shown tallied five aces. 

Grass Lake at tri-meet: The Warriors lost 2-1 against Lenawee Christian and 2-0 against Athens. Olivia Turner had 35 digs for Grass Lake, Abby Buttigieg was 12-for-14 servings, Sam Caldwell had 18 assists, and Ruby Johnson led the offense with 11 kills. The Warriors were facing two of the topped ranked teams in the state in the tri-meet.

Onsted 7, Columbia Central 1

Grass Lake 8, Arbor Prep 3: Henry Black and Gus Vitale each scored three goals in the last regular-season game for Grass Lake. Dylan Griffor and Wesley Good each scored a goal for the Warriors. Good finished with three assists on the night. Grass Lake finishes the regular season with an 11-3-2 record, ranked No. 11 in Division 4. 

Manchester 8, Jackson Christian 0  

Western 8, Harper Creek 3: Barrett Warner scored a hat trick – including two goals in the first half – giving Western a home win in the Interstate-8 Conference third-place game. Senior Marshal Eva scored two goals and Christian Roza, Wyatt Robinson, and Jack Herrington each score one goal for Western. The Panthers trailed 3-1 at one point in the first half. 

Hillsdale 8, Columbia Central 0: The Golden Eagles lost 8-0 on the road Wednesday.

Pinckney at Jackson: Eva Curtis won the 50-yard freestyle race in 26.97 seconds and Lydia Hawkins won the diving competition with 201.9 for Jackson.
