Four Spring Arbor University (SAU) online graduate programs were recently ranked as top programs in the state and nation by OnlineMasters.com, a trusted source for unbiased college rankings and higher education planning. SAU’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Leadership (MSCL), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MTESOL) have been recognized within the last several months.

SAU’s MSN was listed among “The Best Online MSN Programs” for 2018, making it only one of three top-ranked programs of its kind in Michigan. OnlineMasters.com selected the 50 top MSN programs in the U.S. out of 866 analyzed. SAU’s program was additionally named “Best for Nurse Leaders” in the nation, for its variety of flexible offerings designed for nurses looking to advance in their careers.

SAU’s MSCL was listed among “The Best Online Master’s in Communications Programs” for 2019. OnlineMasters.com selected 40 of the best programs after analyzing every online Master in Communication program in the U.S. SAU’s program was additionally awarded “Best Student Coaching” in the nation, due to its Student Success Coach Program, which helps students to succeed in the classroom and in their personal lives through individual advisor mentoring.

SAU’s MBA with a concentration in Human Resource Development was listed among “The Best Online MBA in Human Resources Programs” for 2019. OnlineMasters.com identified 50 of the best programs after analyzing every online MBA in Human Resources program in the U.S. SAU’s program was additionally named the “Most Accelerated” program in the nation, as students in the program may earn their degree in less time than usual, spending as little as one year in the program while taking one course at a time.

SAU’s MTESOL was listed among “The Best Online Master’s in English Language Learning Programs” for 2019. OnlineMasters.com identified 50 of the best programs after analyzing every Master in English Language Learning program in the U.S. SAU’s program was additionally named the “Most Accessible” program in the nation, due to the program’s streamlined application process, which doesn’t require GRE or GMAT scores.

To determine their rankings, OnlineMasters.com collects data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and the National Center for Education Statistics. The rankings recognize the best online graduate programs based on three key factors:

  • Affordability (20%)

Program scoring factors are calculated using data from surveys of current students and alumni and insights from industry experts and hiring managers.
