(August 10, 2020 12:00 PM) The Jackson County Health Department released the COVID-19 positive numbers for Jackson County.  As of 12 PM today, there are 691 positive cases (cumulative), and 33 deaths (cumulative)*.    

There are 2 new cases since yesterday’s report. 

Cumulative recovered, as of August 7, 2020:  495**

The Michigan Department of Corrections is reporting as of 1:30 PM Sunday, August 9, there are 1,465 confirmed positive cases at Jackson facilities and 158 confirmed positive staff cases.

As of 7 AM August 6, there are 9 persons at Henry Ford Allegiance Health being treated as inpatients for COVID-19.

*These numbers do not reflect any cases or deaths identified through Michigan Department of Corrections.  Their numbers are listed under a separate category for MDOC cases here:   Michigan Statistics.

**Recovered is defined as the number of persons with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis who are alive 30 days post-onset (or referral date if onset is not available).
