Jackson, MI – The City of Jackson Parks and Recreation Department today released the schedule of fall activities found at the Boos Recreation Center in Loomis Park, located at 210 Gilbert St.

Additions to this year’s exercise class offerings include new Yoga classes, a Pilates and Yoga fusion, and a Cardio Drumming workout, said Joe Hawley, Recreation Services Coordinator for the City of Jackson. “In addition to our ever popular aerobics and yoga classes, we’ve added more options as well as the cardio drumming class, which appeals to all exercise levels in a fun, energetic environment.”

All exercise classes at the Boos Center are $4 per class, or a 10-pass card can be purchased for $32, directly at the Center. For a full list of class offerings, please visit www.cityofjackson.org/boos

Tumbling and Gymnastics classes again will be offered for kids ages 2 and up. Classes are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

Also returning this fall will be Indoor Adult Dodgeball, entering its third year with the Recreation Department. “This is another one of those programs that appeals to the young adults in our community, and has been one of our most popular programs since its inception”, Hawley said. Cost is just $100 per team, with games beginning Thursday nights in October.
