(March 20, 2023 4:17 PM ET) With a number of running events in the coming months, running enthusiasts in Grass Lake held a pop-up training session on Saturday at the Lost Railway Museum.

More than two dozen runners – a majority of them from the Grass Lake Road Runners – proceeded along the Traffic Jam’in 5K course in Grass Lake.

The group gathers every Saturday to train in the Grass Lake area.

Ann Arbor Running Company owner Nick Stanko was there for support and to donate $10 off coupons to attendees who ran with the Road Runners.

Runners had an opportunity to try ASICS running shoes as shown by representative Tim O’Hara.

Fortress Café provided freshly brewed coffee and M&K Jetting and Television and the Orthopaedic Race Series provided snacks for the participants.
