Michigan Reports 1,953 Coronavirus Cases Today, State Total Now 12,744; Jackson County Total Is 70

(April 3, 2020 3:39 PM)  Michigan reported 1,953 coronavirus (COVID-19) positive test cases today,  with the state reported total now at 12,744.

The State of Michigan is reporting 62 COVID-19-related deaths today, bringing the state total to 479.   

The Jackson County Health Department released the COVID-19 positive numbers for Jackson County.  As of 12 PM today, there are 70 positive cases (cumulative), and three deaths.

As of 11 a.m. on Friday, April 3, there are 26 individuals with positive COVID-19 results who are inpatients at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. There are also 10 persons under investigation who are inpatient at HFAH. As of this morning, six positive COVID-19 inpatients at Henry Ford Allegiance Health have fully recovered and were discharged to return home.

This information is updated daily at 3 p.m., with COVID-19 results included as of 10 a.m.

    Counts represent the total specimens tested, not total patients tested. A patient can have more than one specimen tested, therefore the number of specimens tested may be more than the number of patients tested.
