(December 1, 2022 11:41 AM) TRUE Community Credit Union has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2022 honor by Detroit Free Press Top Workplaces. This is the eighth Top Workplaces Award TRUE CCU has received in less than 10 years.

“We are so humbled to receive the award of Top Workplace,” said Chrissy Siders, President and CEO of TRUE Community Credit Union. “Attaining this honor is a reflection of our commitment to value people over profit, process, and product. We work hard to create and protect an inclusive environment where differences are celebrated, diversity is embraced, and our whole selves are seen and accepted. The employee engagement survey is a true testament to that work and our value of two-way feedback, graciously welcomed and respectfully given. We can’t wait to dig into the valuable feedback our employees provided to ensure our workplace always remains committed to a culture that listens, understands, and responds to the needs of our employees.”

The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

“We are intentional about our efforts to provide an environment where each of our team members feel there isn’t another workplace they’d rather be part of,” added Heather Harback, VP of People and Culture at TRUE Community Credit Union. “We are committed to the difficult, yet rewarding, work of providing space for a work life that encourages, invests, and values our employees so they return home each day to their friends, families, and communities with energy to spare and joy to share.”

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of.  In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
