The Vietnam Veterans of America, Jackson Chapter 109, conducted a POW-MIA vigil at the Chapter, 235 W. Franklin St., Jackson. The vigil is to raise awareness and remember all Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action. The Chapter dedicated the Field of Honor in memory of Robert “Bob” Wilkinson (1949-2022). Bob was a Navy Veteran, serving in Vietnam (1968-1972), and President of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 109 from 2012-2022. Bob’s vision was to bring the Field of Honor to fruition. 9-15-23.
