WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON…Snow and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations through late this afternoon of 1 to 3 inches are expected.
An Arctic cold front will drop south through the Lower Peninsula this morning, pushing out of the southwest quarter of the state by about 100pm. Temperatures will drop into the teens and 20s behind the front. The front will also bring an end to the heavier snow. An additional 1 to 3 inches is possible through early afternoon. High pressure will build into the region behind the cold front. Tonight’s lows will dip into the single digits. Monday’s highs will only top out around 20 degrees, which is about 10 degrees below normal.
