In observance of National Women’s Heart Health Month, Michigan Heart cardiologist Dr. Cathy Glick and Allegiance Women’s Health Center Director Joan Elzinga shared risk factors, prevention and treatment information with viewers. Lowering cholesterol, managing blood pressure and weight and eliminating smoking are recommended measures to improve heart health. There will be a program featuring Dr. Glick on Saturday, February 22 at the Cascades Manor House that includes breakfast, exercise and relaxation techniques and a featured presentation by Dr. Glick.
