JTV Sports’ sixteenth season of High School Sports coverage begins this Saturday, August 27th with the return of the “Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac Sports Weekend”.  For the 9th straight year, Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac of Ann Arbor returns as the presenting title sponsor of Sports Weekend on JTV Sports.

Since JTV began coverage of High School Sports in 2000, nearly 40,000 high school student-athletes have appeared in over 2,800 game telecasts on JTV.  With complete game coverage, Locker Room, Aspen One-Hour Football Show, Thursday Night Hoops and specials, JTV has earned the distinction of being “The World Leader in Local High School Sports Television”.

Each week during the regular and post-season, JTV covers 3 to 4 games, with play-by-play and color commentators, instant replays, graphics and several in-game features.  Games played on Friday nights air Saturday and Sunday in rotation at 1, 3:30, 7 and 9:30pm on the Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac Sports Weekend.

JTV’s award-winning sports programming expands this year with online video highlights and features throughout the season on JTV.TV.  Additional content online include our massive photo galleries, the Extreme Dodge Galleries, which last year presented over 14,000 photos from high school games and events.

The JTV Sports announcing team includes veteran commentators Mike Moore, Jim Francis, Larry Jacobson, Joel Freehling, Josh Burgett, Bobby Lee, Eric Shaw and Gabe Schray.

Games scheduled for week #1 are:  Grand Rapids West Catholic at Lumen Christi, Saturday at 1 and 7pm and Sunday at 3:30pm;  Coldwater at Jackson, Saturday at 3:30 and 9:30pm and Sunday at 9:30pm;  Columbia Central at Napoleon, Sunday at 1 and 7pm.

JTV is being added as a channel on Roku and Amazon Fire later this month and all games will be available via these apps at the same times.

JTV and JTV Sports programming is available on Comcast Channel 90, AT&T U-Verse Channel 5380 and WOW! Cable Channel 161 throughout South Central Michigan.  JTV can also be viewed online 24/7 at www.jtv.tv.
